The first Vinyl Night of 2019 is the 'Accidents' edition. Come down to the Fish Factory (carefully) and bring a selection of accident themed vinyl with you, whether title, artist or other connection. Put your name on the list and, in rotation, we'll each get a chance to play three songs and, if we get to the end of the list, we'll go round again with another two (and so on).

You can enjoy the tunes of your fellow Vinyl Nighters as well as the goodies on offer in the Fish Factory cafe.

Sealionwoman, The Worm, Frances Pylons
31st January 7-11.45pm

Inspired by the selkies of Scottish folklore: water-dwelling beasts who morph from seal to human upon landing ashore. ‘Siren’ is the debut album by Sealionwoman: comprising a duo of vocals, doublebass and electronics.

The material on ‘Siren’ originally stemmed from a narrative live concert called ‘Selkie’, in which spectres of folklore, electronic drone and contemporary dance were intertwined to form a truly innovative live performance.
