Fish Factory Photo
FUNDRAISER
Sunday 1st July

An informal gathering with a meal and a bit of a party to raise funds for completing our photo studio and darkroom.

With the extra money raised we will be able to offer our photo facilities to members of the public for photo shoots, black & white developing and photo printing at affordable prices.
Our target to raise for this work is £500

Your £10 ticket gets you a delicious 
vegan mezze and a drink from the bar. There will also be musical accompaniment and DJs later on. Tickets still available HERE or from the Fish Factory cafe.
We are also holding a very special raffle with tickets for

Incredible Edible
WORK DAY
Sunday 8th July

Join us in creating a green space full of edible plants outside the Fish Factory.

If you have building skills, spare plants, spare tools or just want to hang out with us you are invited to join from 10-5 pm. Free vegan food for all participant's.

We will be having more work parties to help finish off our space/paint/build/clearing. If you feel happy up a ladder we could do with help finishing off the painting of our front doors.

RADICAL MUSIC WEEK

A week of eclectic music at the Fish Factory - These evenings have been so much fun and we have been able to listen to such a range of experimental and wild music. We are so excited to bring a week long program of awesome sound to the Fish!

There will be raffles with fabulous prizes, vinyl and other fun merchandise and Verdant beer available on the bar. As always, come with open minds and ears - it's going to be RAD

Bill Brandson
SOLO EXHIBITION

Join Fish Factory studio resident Bill Brandson, an impressionist /expressionist landscape painter based here in Penryn. Painting landscapes from the local area Bill has been one of the longest residents of the Fish Factory, moving with us from our old venue.

SOLO EXHIBITION

Concupiscence is a term which describes an ardent longing; often associated in religious texts to lusts proscribed by the Laws of God.

The intent of this project is to provoke discussion in a body of work that questions censorship and modern attitudes to naked flesh and the perceptions of sexuality.

SOLO EXHIBITION

This exhibition shares the camera-less photographic work made by photographic artist Josie Purcell in response to the global sand crisis.

The project aims to raise awareness of this lesser known environmental and humanitarian issue.

On the opening night, Josie will be speaking in more detail about the inspiration for this work, the photographic techniques and processes implemented, and how the natural world influences her work.
