Two great exhibitions at the Fish Factory this week:

BA Applied Media – Degree Show F1N is the degree show of the BA Applied Media at Truro College and has been grouped under this title to represent the end of the first year of this new top up degree course for the creative students from photography, moving image, media advertising, and sound engineering courses. The work is being exhibited at the Fish Factory between the 4th-11th June 2013.
The work represents a range of diverse media and photography practices from the street photography of Matt Davis to the commercial automotive photography of Martin Stephens. The short films also cover a range of genres from documentaries such as Chris Jones short observational documentary about the Monkey Sanctuary in Looe to Matt  Binny’s  look at the Cornish Rollerblading scene. Fiction pieces include Aaron Massie’s exploration of death and betrayal, Sammie Stairs’ look at issues of digital reality in the near future and Vic Hill’s look at popular culture, violence and unemployment in the mockgameshow, Dole Warriors. Hoby Allen, a sound engineering student, has produced the EP 'Spare Some Change' of local buskers to raise money for the Truro based charity, St Petrocs, and acts from the EP will be performing at the private view on the 6th June between 6-9pm.
