We now have a webshop where you can get the first edition of the 'Print Club' series - 'Just Bones' by Lee McIntyre. 'Print Club' is a bi-monthly collaboration between the Fish Factory and emerging local and international artists to provide a limited run of prints for affordable prices. Lots more art goodies on the way.

If you haven't been to the Fish Factory yet it's a multi-functional art space in Falmouth sat on the edge of the harbour in a former scallop processing factory. It has over 30 studio spaces where a wide range of artists are practising, two large exhibition/event spaces and a small shop/hangout area with free wifi. After a year and a half the Fish Factory is establishing itself as a serious alternative to Cornwall's stale seaside art scene, providing a forum for cutting edge, contemporary art from the area as well as attracting international exhibitors and residencies. We are open between 10am and 6pm from Monday to Saturday and host a wide range of events and social clubs. The space is always changing and growing, and always open to new ideas so if you would like to get involved please do drop us an email on

There are now a whole range of open-plan studios to choose from in the Fish Factory and next door in Fish2 from £40 per month. If you are interested in hiring a studio get in touch via email or just come on down and ask for a tour.

The Fish Factory needs it's wonderful volunteers to keep open and keep growing! We have positions available for general assistants - helping with the day-to-day running, exhibition assistants - for occassional help hanging and organising shows, curatorial assistants - who will have direct input into specific events and exhibitions, and editorial assistants - to help in the production of the newsletter, press releases and other output. This is a great way to get that vital industry based experience for your CV, and to become involved in your local creative community.

From the Summer exhibition 'Maelstrom' to the screening of 'El Mar, Mi Alma' the beautiful Chilean surf film and the  regular music events and socials - it's been an awesome summer here at the Fish Factory. Here are some of our highlights:

EL MAR, MI ALMA - a stunning touring surf film from Stephen Jones, an Australian director about surfing in Chile, the country and the environment - just beautiful and one of our first film screenings.
