FISH2 LAUNCH PARTY 17TH JUNE 2012

Since opening in May 2011 The Fish Factory took no time at all in filling itself to the rafters with hard working local artists.

Throughout the past year it’s become apparent that there are a whole host of emerging artists in the Falmouth area who are seeking affordable, workable spaces in which to carry out their practice. Not wanting to let people down The Fish Factory is very proud to launch Fish2, an extension on the studios here at The Fish Factory. The unit will house 16 studios of various sizes starting from £50 per month.

To celebrate this new space we are throwing a party, a studio warming if you will and you are all invited. The dress code for the night will be ‘’too jazzy’’, so mismatched colours, clashing patterns and a touch of panache is a must. The evening will be a fun packed affair with live music, spoken word, barbeque, affordable bar, photo booth, studio opening and much more. For more information contact The Fish Factory on 07810036155 or email fishfactoryarts@live.co.uk
Unit 15a, Falmouth Wharves, North Parade, Falmouth, TR11 2TF

The party starts at 6pm til late.

THE EMPTY ART PARTY - 19TH MAY - PHOTOS AND VIDEO

After two great exhibitions at the Fish Factory this Spring - 'Light Object Light' and 'The Human Beast - Wild Excursions in Illustrations' we felt the need to shake things up and strip things down to some raw art making. Both shows came off the walls on the 19th May and we decided to draw on the walls instead....!

Featured Artists were Jeremy Beswick, Diggy, Plymo, Lorna Johnson, Lee McIntyre, Josh Lines & Ed Griffith-Jones.
